Shopping bag designs
Also in the crit a few people spotted I have not yet applied my designs to the carrier bags, as stated in the brief. I have done this now, the first three would be used in Topshop and the second three would be used in Topman. Again for these aswell as the posters I have chosen to use the vector designs as they are a lot clearer to see from a distance and give a more professional, branded appearance.

Good quantity. Especially of illustration and ideas.
Design production and development well documented.
Good range of information.
The mock of the clothing isn't good enough yet. Spend time making this better.
Design is nice but need to be applied better to clothing.
Nice illustrations
Quality use of blog, images and standard of recording information.
Why postcards? How does your range relate.
Rats- not very attractive.
clear blog
Boards
What is purpose of postcards?
label styles different (doesn't really tie in)
High quallity of production.
Tags need to tie in with the rest of the range
Not industry standard yet, postcards are not double sided.
Your boards need annotation. At the moment they don't tell a story
Tag lables- do they need a board to themselves?
Tags should be on clothes.
Evidence of design decisions.
Select key design movements and include on boards.
Context where is the product going to be placed?
Photograph.
Evidence is there, selecting kep points and categorizing them.
Work hasn't got same thone of voice. Very unclear as what the products are and what the development is.
Needs putting into context and some explanation with it.

Alternative, postcard designs
I have been struggling with applying the hand drawn imagery to the postcards and creating a 'professional' look. So I have created this alternative vector range which I think look more professional, also with the added bonus of being a lot simpler and quicker to produce.
Through my research I have come across some interesting pattern design. I have tried to create something similar in the postcard below. Made of two vectors, an anchor and a ships wheel I have copied and paced these images several times and flipped on every alternative line.

Using a similar technique to the pattern design shown above, I have produced this alternative 'son of a gun' postcard. I have also written Topshop across one of the guns.

How to distibute digitally
This first screen is of the the Topshop home page. I have kept some of the original photographs, however added my new navy inspired logos. I have also designed a couple of new links to the 'Navy collection' and 'Navy dresses'. The background used to be covered in small black dots and I have replaced these with blue anchors.
On the home screen near the top there is a 'collections' link, once clicked this next page will open. Club Tropicana and Summer fete are two existing collections in the Topshop store, however i have added a Navy collection icon. I chose this model and the clothing garments because they fit well into the collection.

Topshop logo
A few people have mentioned that to promote and communicate the clothing colection the design can not purely rely on the imagery to inform the audience. So I thought it might be worth developing a logo, not to re brand topshop but to create the Topshop brand in a navy style.
So I have kept a similar type face to the one used by Topshop today. Then incorporated a few of the simple, clear vector designs. All in the soft blue again to re enforce the navy theme.
